Nautical Bridal Shower

My sister is getting married in less than a month!!! <3 Stevie and Brandon have an awesome passion for the ocean, so my Mom and I threw her a nautical themed party. Huge thanks to my Aunt and Mother-in-law for all your help in executing the ideas we planned! Yellow and Teal are their wedding colors, so we wanted to bring that into the party to honor their wedding day. My mom got to check out my photoshop skillss when we made this invitation. We had fun coming up with the wordage, finding fonts and all the nautical graphics.
My mom saw this idea on pinterest, and my Aunt Monika executed it incredibly!! One of my favorite pieces from the day.

We’ve all written in the sand at the beach.. so I thought it would be cute to bring a little sand to the party and have everyone write a little message or doodle and take a picture for Stevie to see later.

We transformed the living room with the T shaped tables & loved decorating the tables for the theme.

The wine glasses were favors for the ladies. We wrapped twine around the stem and knotted a cute shell on each.

Salt water taffies in these cute baggies my Mom made!

We added new themed artwork to all the frames around the house.

My mom spray painted an anchor, and the outline on the board was then crafted into a new art piece. My dad cut around the edges and wrapped it in rope to finish off the look!

We had a few nautical inspired dishes for our hor d’eurves, like clam chowder, shrimp cocktail and shaped the pita bread into anchors for the garden hummus, and used yellow pineapples to bring in the color to name a few items of food.

It’s all in the details! We got these cute fishies and painted them and put them along the drink bar.

Oh my goodness, the cake! I love the cake!!! As well as the cute anchor cookies 🙂 Thanks so much Heavenly Cakes

Ehhh!! She was so excited to see everything <3
Keep Calm posters just scream cuteness!

My Aunt, Stevie, Mom & I.. enjoying the party after all our hard work… well.. Mostly my Aunt & Moms hard work 🙂 since I was so busy.

My little niece, playing photographer all day. She was awesome!

Yummy drinks were served.. time for the party to begin!

Brandon said, “that’s not a gift you add to your bridal shower registry”.. and Stevie said… “watch! someone awesome will get it for me!” haha she was so happy.

My mom and her amazing skills made this beautiful calendar, as a count down to their wedding and for the newlywed year after. It had so many cute dates to remember in it and fill with memories!

She also put together this 7 song slideshow that looped the whole time, from birth to now. My goodness mom, you out did yourself! <3
Stevie and her bridesmaids! Two of them live out of state, so we had Skype up to talk with them during the party.
